Character development, anyone?
I never realized how powerful this line is. It’s not just that she’s saying Katniss is beautiful, she’s also saying the people of the capitol aren’t. That their beauty is not real. It’s not beautiful. She’s not beautiful. All the wigs, make up and silly fussy dresses she wears are not beautiful. It’s not real beauty.
I can’t explain to you guys how much I love and adore her.
Emily Vancamp as Sharon Carter in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”
Here’s an example of what we call a “soft no”. Sharon turns down Steve’s offer in a way that’s meant not to insult him but never actually uses the word “no”.
Steve clearly gets the message, though, and importantly offers to leave her alone. Sharon’s comment afterwards gives him an opportunity to try again later, but he doesn’t press and respects her rejection of his company even though it’s probably hurt his feelings a bit.
Just in case you ever wonder “What would Captain America do?”; there you go.
Kacy Catanzaro: the first woman in history to qualify for Mt. Midoriyama.
I just need everyone to watch this video [x]. She’s a 5 foot, 100 lb gymnast and she beasts through this insanely difficult, heavily upper body focused course like it was her morning jog. The camera keeps cutting to these massive, musclebound men in the audience with their mouths hanging open.

I WILL NEVER NOT REBLOG A CORGI PLAYING WITH THE BOINGY DOORSTOP THING
THE BOINGY DOORSTOP THING
I hate when people on Tumblr use this impenetrable technical jargon. Not everyone has a degree in architectural engineering.
Day 25: What’s your favorite Doctor Who art?
It’s not just art but I chose an artist. I am in love with alicexz. The first art I’ve seen from her is the Eleventh Doctor (second last) and just continued from there! She does other things besides Doctor Who like Sherlock, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, and even more!
Lazy hair day, so I just put it in a braid. I’m feeling super confident, partially because yesterday was the first time EVER that a random guy gave me his number while I was working at Taco Bell. Seems creepy but he was actually really sweet about it. And in a small town like where I am, it is quite sweet and flattering. I’m also really seeing just how confident I am. I always pretended like I was, but now I’m actually believing in myself. Fake it til you make it, I guess.
